The 4th generation headset continues the legacy and tradition of trusted hearing protector headsets from 3M Peltor. The hybrid approach incorporates in-ear hearing protection for hot weather environments while retaining the advantages of the traditional architecture of legacy COMTAC headsets.

COMTAC III^™ACH

Specially designed to fit with the Advance Combat Helmet. The COMTAC III ACH is Peltor's Next Generation Tactical Hearing Protector.  Based off the field-proven COMTAC II, this new headset offers improvements such as: Increased Battery Life (500+ hrs), New Boom Microphone, tactical key pad, improved audio talk-through, and additional water proofing. COMTAC III^™ARC

3M has taken steps towards helmet integration by creating a helmet attachment for the Peltor COMTAC Headset that interfaces with the Ops-Core ARC Kit (Accessory Rail Connector) for use with FAST Helmets (Future Assault Shell Technology).

The system uses the Peltor P3 Mounting mechanism. The mount has two wires that connect to the mounting posts on the side of the ear cup. The integrated solution address the challenge of donning and doffing of the helmet, and eliminates the need to modify the internal padding of the helmet for proper fitting.

In the "open" position, the operator can easily don/doff the helmet/headset, and adjust for proper fit. In the "closed" position, the ear cups will compress against the head. The ability for the user to have an ”open” position of the headset allows the user to ventilate in high heat environments, but can still monitor radio communication (via the speaker in the headset).

TACTICAL SHOULDER MICROPHONE

The Peltor™ Shoulder Mic is an affordable microphone that offers clear and reliable communications for Combat Support operations. The Shoulder Mic has been optimized for use with the PRC-148 MBITR and PRC-152 Falcon Radios. The Shoulder Mic also accepts a 3.5mm plug for listen-only earphone.

POWERCOM PLUS^®

Military Green UHF 2-Way Radio Headset features foliage green ear cups, a noise-cancelling boom microphone, 22 preprogrammed UHF frequencies, certified NRR values, cup microphones for ambient situational hearing ability, ghost voicing for mode changes and 38 CTCSS analog subchannels.

BASIC HEADSET

Peltor's series of standard hearing protection headsets. Headsets provide superior audio quality, are easy to use and affordably priced.
Two headsets:  1) Low-Profile for use under Kevlar helmets 2) Standard profile for higher noise environments where Kevlar helmets are not required.
Headsets are offered in tactical black, NATO wired with noise canceling microphone and folding headband.
